I found two strands of these crazy big, fiery, mixed matrix Australian opal beads and made one into a necklace. Necklace is all hand-knotted, 20" long, beads taper down from a huge 20mm, 300 carats. Finished with an oversized 14k yellow gold spring ring clasp. There is matrix (host rock) mixed in with the opal for a unique/ rugged look. Additional photos coming.
